The Kronoberg Agricultural Museum

 
 
The history of agriculture in Kronoberg County is preserved in its very own museum. The museum charts the changing circumstances of local farmers throughout the years. Kronobergs Lantbruksmuseum is open during the summer months.t The Museum also includes a nice café (Hjärtenholms Gårdscafé)

Car Boot Sale

In the area around Alvesta and Växjö flea market culture abounds. We recommend that you swing by Hjärtenholm’s boot sale when in the area.
Every Sunday  from 11am to 2 pm, starting May 26 and ending September 1, with the exception of June 23.

Rug Magic

The visitor can find out just about everything about the small bits of fabric that make up a typical rag rug. Might the fabrics we have had underfoot for centuries be put to better use by decorating our walls instead?

Scrollwork—Vanity In Wood

During the late 1800sRural architect Löfvenskiöldpropagated for airy, healthy homes with sturdy wooden frames and plenty of carved decoration. Swiss Chalet Style (rich with scrollwork) is associated with the rural idyll nowadays, a dream for many!
